Our initial investment: As part of our initial
investment, we injected fresh funds into the business. Our investment
enabled further improvements to its product, people, and processes,
allowing it to capitalise on the inherent organic growth opportunity as
the travel market reopened post Covid-19, with M&A being a key growth
driver also. Alex Williamson joined the Board as Chairman at completion,
bringing a wealth of experience in both the Education and Travel sectors.
Building value: Investing in the team and
systems/processes helped support the short-term growth opportunity as the
travel market reopened post Covid-19. In parallel, broadening offering,
organically and through acquisition, will facilitate its evolution into a
one-stop-shop for school travel and educational experiences.
